This chat uses the Claude on your PC, the one your subscription already pays for. The phone asks the PC over Tailscale, so there is nothing extra to pay and no key to buy.

Switch the PC on, make sure Tailscale is on on this phone, then press the button. Nothing to type and nothing to copy: the PC hands the phone everything it needs, because only your own devices can reach it in the first place.

Not connecting? Then just press Close. The day plan itself works exactly as before without it.

Open desktop-2d7leij.tail47fa84.ts.net/claude in Safari on this phone. It shows the password. The blue button on that page will not help you here: an app added to the Home Screen keeps its own storage, separate from Safari, so that button only ever sets up Safari. The address is already filled in below.

The PC is off a lot? Use a paid key instead

An Anthropic API key works with the PC switched off, but it is not part of your subscription: you top up at console.anthropic.com and pay per message. The PC is used whenever it answers, and this key only as a fallback.
